I really believe that it isn't stress that causes illness so much as procrastination. When we put off doing something, it nags and nags and eats away at us. I am a procrastinator, and I think most people are to some extent, but when I am in the right mood I choose to just deal with the problem immediately than have to have it stewing away, causing me great anxiety. The result is usually that I find the task wasn't as bad as I anticipated and it feels soooo much better to have dealt with it. Whenever possible we should just attack the problem head on; its less stressful and less injurious to our health and peace of mind, don't you think?
