Time To Talk Gardening Here In Canada
Winter Months Were Made To Dream About Gardening.
As I write this,it's snowing outside and it's very pretty to look at. But not as pretty as looking at gorgeous and colorful flowers.
Since I can't wait for the gardening season to begin, I have started a list of websites related to gardening, so I have plenty of gorgeous plants and flowers to look at while waiting.
Just one of the site Free Plants Articles For Your Website Or Newsletter here that I really learn a lot.
You can find a lot of other gardening sites that I love right here

That is a great idea, doing some research in advance, so you will know what you want and what suits your conditions.
We garden all year round here in Australia, and I have found some great websites for information so that my efforts will hopefully be more successful.
Hugs, Jan
Maria, thanks for stopping by and saying hello. I don't do anything special to attract the Cardinals. They eat the black oil sunflower seed (this is a favorite) and the mixed seed with corn that I provide. They don't come as far north as you are, unfortunately.
Have you ever tried forcing a few Forsythia branches into bloom in late winter/early spring? This is a great way to have a few early blooms in the house. Just cut a few small branches and put them in a vase of water. If you're lucky you should have blooms in a few weeks.

You might try Forcing Twigs and Stems to Bloom. I wrote this article on Squidoo to cheer up all those who need some springtime.
I can't wait to start seeds! I've been pouring over the seed catalogs for the last couple weeks. I love this stage in the planning process where you can truly believe this year's gardens will be *perfect*! Thanks for stopping by!
