More laughter. For me, my family, my chicas, and my readers. Laughter truly is the best medicine.

Here's to laughing out loud, until your mascara runs, you can hardly breathe, you snort, you howl, you fall off your chair...it just doesn't get any better than this.

Ciao for now...and Happy New Year to you and yours!

No crime in that! I am sure a lot of people don't do it. We might do goals throughout the year -- I think that's more realistic.

Resolutions are always tough and I end up feeling bad when I don't follow through on them.

My husband oldmanlincoln asked me if I would tell you my recipe for Sauerkraut and ribs. I don't have one. I open two small cans of Bush brand Bavarian style sauerkraut, and after I brown the ribs in the broiler, I lay them on top of the kraut cover the pan and bake until the ribs are tender and done. I also serve it with mashed potatoes, and I don't even make them any longer for just the two of us, I use Martha White brand instant mashed potatoes, but I do use whole milk and butter.

I don't make any New Year resolutions, since in years past, I was never able to keep them. At this age, I just gave up trying.
