Don't Take My Spring Away

I opened the curtains this morning
and had a terrible shock.

There was a white blanket of snow
instead of our wonderful green one.

What is happening here?
Is this a joke?

I want my spring look back....

Are you experiencing the same thing
where you live?

Marie

Mother Nature has a strage sense of humor! We didn't really have "winter". When the temps should have been 40-50 we had 80. The plants didnt know what to do.

It started to warmup here in Rhode Island and then I saw a few flakes today... It's still winter jacket and cap for me..But It's ok I lived in Lousiana Heat most of my life so this is diffrent. It feels better than Heat and Humidity and No Allergies for me in the spring YAY!

We don't get snow, but it has gotten cool again after having been warm some. Makes me pout.

Well, yes I am having the same sort of day. I flipped open my curtains this morning, and found myself gazing into your window.

Well, actually, not, since I am way down here in North Carolina.

Yes, we had gotten a bit of snow to break into our spring also, but now it is gone. Very lovely blog.

That was pretty much my reaction the other day. I woke up and said "ho-ly cr-ap. That can't be snow I see outside". Nothing but white! Got the kids out of bed though, but unfortunately it was the first day of SPRING BREAK. *sigh*

I've never seen green snow, never even heard of it. I know about yellow snow, at least enough to not eat it. But green?

It's always refreshing to see snow and the green blanket below peeking through. Sometimes in the spring, the cherry blossoms would come out, indicating spring, but it would still be snowing....odd.

I think the weather becoming more and more unpredictable. I don't remember snow in the spring from before, but it is a lot more common now. Also, after the snow, all of a sudden, it's sunny and warm like summer...even more odd.

Our snow - which I was moaning on and on about has GONE...and spring is sprung...ha ha...only trouble is in Bavaria in mid May we have what are known as the "Ice Saints" and they bring the cold back...ugh...
