Getting Joy From Clicking

I don't know about you guys, but I get
a lot of joy from doing something good
for others.

There is one in particular that is very
easy to do and it is free.

When you go to their site and click
on their button, it helps pay for mammograms
for women who can't afford to pay for them.

Easy to do, lots of impact.

Not only is there a right to be happy, there is a duty to be happy. So much sadness exists in the world that we are all under obligation to contribute as much joy as lies within our powers."

Gorgeous Blue Sky

This morning we are having a gorgeous blue sky
paired with a giant sun.It is going to be
a great day, what we call here a "red letter day".

There is about one week left of the summer of 2005.
Let's make it count!

Some Thoughts On Kindness

Constant kindness can accomplish much.
As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes
misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.
— Albert Schweitzer-

Have you had a kindness shown?
Pass it on;
'Twas not given for thee alone,
Pass it on;
Let it travel down the years,
Let it wipe another's tears,
'Till in Heaven the deed appears--
Pass it on.
- Rev. Henry Burton, Pass It On-

Impeach Bush?

Lots of angry people in America
these days.Some are even starting
a movement to impeach Bush.

This will certainly bring joy to
about 50%of the american population.
Maybe even more since some republican
are also very angry.

We will see.

Thoughts On Time

"Time is an equal opportunity employer.
Each human being has exactly
the same number of hours and minutes every day.
Rich people can't buy more hours.
Scientists can't invent new minutes.
And you can't save time to spend it on another day.

Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving.
No matter how much time you've wasted in the
past, you still have an entire tomorrow."

Dedicated Teachers

This morning I found a positive article in a community
newspaper.I was really impressed to read that quite a few teachers
are so dedicated to their students that they buy books,
pencils, notebooks, etc for their own classroom and with their
own money.

Here is what one teacher said:
"Voss said she prefers to get books for her classroom collection in lieu of a gift from grateful parents or students."

What a good deed!
