Full Belly Project

I came across this video and I thought "what a great concept." Thanks to the innovator: Mr. Jock Brandis for the peanut sheller for African use.

It has already greatly improved the nutrition of African children and reduced the labor of women. The children will not suffer from hunger anymore because of this great innovation. My hope is that it spreads all over the countries where hunger is a huge problem.

I just love to read about "feel good stories" like this one.

What A Great Start For This Week

I just came back from my daily walk and Surprise!
My mailbox was full of junk fliers and a few letters.
When I looked at the last one in the pile,it was my
monthly cheque from Share A Sale

It is a network for affiliate programs which I belong to. I advertise for the businesses that I believe in and in return I get a compensation for my work when someone buys a product. I love doing this kind of work and find it very rewarding.

Now, I'm even more motivated to work harder to get a bigger cheque next month.

Isn't this Internet Marketing the greateast thing since sliced bread and radio?

If Only One Could Make Up One's MInd

If only one could make up one's mind in a positive manner
it would be a lot easier for one to avoid poverty and start building
one's fortune.

"Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought."

Something To Ponder

The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.
-Eric Hoffer-

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.

Just Pondering On Democracy

"What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?"
-Mahatma Gandhi-

"The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it."
-Edward Dowling-

The surface of American society is covered with a layer of democratic paint, but from time to time one can see the old aristocratic colours breaking through.
-Alexis de Tocqueville-

A Little Smile For Today

The human brain starts working the moment you are born and never stops until you stand up to speak in public.

A Funny Quote To Enjoy

"I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play, bring a friend... if you have one."

George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill...followed by

Churchill's response:

"Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second, if there is one."

Make Money Online

I joined Squidoo a little while back and I just discovered today that Seth Godin is the founder of Squidoo. I have a great admiration for Seth Godin's books and I can see why this new social networking is so popular. With a founder like him, the website has already a good base of followers.

Anyway, in case you don't know anything about this new phenomena,I invite you to go and take a peek. It's easy to get addicted to this network and you can even make some money there while having some fun.

A Good Deed For Today

"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also
full of the overcoming of it."
-Helen Keller-

Those words from Helen Keller resonate with me every day
when I do a few simple clicks for some charities.
It is such a simple thing to do, it only takes a few seconds
of my entire day and I get a wonderful feeling from it.

Try it. You might even get addicted to it like I am.

Another thing that I like to do daily is whenever I need to use a search engine, I go to Good Search and do my searching there. Everytime I search, a charity of my choice gets $0.01 for each search.

For the time being, I am clicking to raise money for For Haiti With Love
